Hailed by critics as “a pianist of enviable power,” “an artist of clear and vivid vision,” award winning pianist Kalina Mrmevska made her debut at the age of 9, winning first prizes in Macedonian and Yugoslavian competitions. At 12, she made her orchestral debut with the Macedonian Philharmonic and at 18, she represented Macedonia at the European Broadcasting Union's Eurovision Contest for young musicians, performing at Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, in Poland. She took first prize at the International Piano Competition for Young Talents “Rovere d'Oro” in San Bartolomeo, Italy, and second prize at the International Piano Competition “Schumann-Young Chang” in Macugnaga, Italy. Mrmevska has performed as a recitalist, chamber musician and orchestra soloist in Italy, France, Turkey, Germany, Spain, USA, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Poland, in venues such as: Musikhalle Hamburg; Macedonian Philharmonic Hall; Warsaw Philharmonic Hall; Robert and Judy Newman Center for the Performing Arts (Denver); Chicago Cultural Center; Staller Center, Stony Brook, New York. She has performed at festivals such as Stars von morgen“(Villa Musica, Rheinland Pfalz, Germany); “(7` Festival Europeo dei Duchi d’Acquaviva, Italy); Ohrid Summer Festival, (Macedonia); II Semana Grande del Piano (Alcoy, Spain); Stony Brook Chamber Festival, NY; Hunter College, New York; International Keyboard Institute & Festival at Mannes College, New York. She is a recipient of a German DAAD scholarship, as well as scholarships from the Otto-Stoterau Stiftung and the Oscar and Vera Stiftung. she has received the Jeff Bradley Award from the University of Denver, Colorado, as well as the prestigious Staller Scholar Award from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she completed her Doctorate of Musical Arts in piano performance under the mentorship of renowned pianist and pedagogue Gilbert Kalish. She was awarded the “13th November Prize of the City of Skopje,” given annually by the President of Macedonia for outstanding achievement in economy, science, education, health-care, engineering, publication, sports, and the arts. In 2006 Mrmevska appeared in Shadows, a film directed by Academy Award nominee Milcho Manchevski. In her native Macedonia, she often appears on national media, and in Chicago, where she performed in the prestigious Dame Myra Hess concert series with violinist Kinga Augustyn, she was broadcast live over WFMT. Ms. Mrmevska is also an active teaching artist and educator. At Stony Brook University in New York, she coached individual piano students and the undergraduate chamber music ensembles while teaching undergraduate courses in History of Music and Theory as an Adjunct Faculty. Her individual students have won soloist competitions and performed at Merkin Hall in Lincoln Center. In addition, Mrmevska serves as a regular jury member at various competitions, including the Long Island Conservatory Soloist Competition, Danube International Concerto Competition, Sound Symphony Solo Competition and Yamaha Piano/Breckenridge Concerto Competition. Deeply committed to promoting Macedonian music, Mrmevska has given US and world premieres of Macedonian composers such as Vlastimir Nikolovski and Risto Avramovski; her next CD will feature further examples of this genre. In 2018 she joined the distinguished piano faculty at Scriabin Summer Piano Academy in Tuscany, Italy, where she continues to teach individual lessons and lecture on selected topics from the history of European music.

Prices and Conditions:
The first 20 minutes online lesson:  40 USD 

This lesson is a first meeting to see what are the plans and expectations of the student and how the teacher could help them reach that.

5 hour online lesson (60 minutes each) : 400 USD

10 hour online lesson (60 minutes each): 800 USD



We will send you all the payment information upon we received your registration, and our teacher accepted you as a student.

The possible methods of payment are: Paypal, Credit and Debit Card, Bank Transfer.

Online Lesson and Masterclass Policy: 

Lesson Cancellation and Refund:

There is no refund on unused or cancelled lessons, but it is possible to rearrange the lesson time. If you need to cancel your lesson, let us know at least 24 hours prior. Then we can re-arrange it to a later suitable time. If you don’t cancel the lesson within 24 hours, then the payment is non-refundable.


Age restriction:

If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must give a signed grant permission for the lessons  (documents will be sent by email), and your parent/guardian must be there with you on the 1st lesson.
