Hikaru Matsukawa

Born in Osaka in 1992, Hikaru Matsukawa, an international violin soloist, began musical education at the age of 4. After many years of guidance by Chihiro Kudo, then-leader of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Matsukawa completed his studies with Simon Fischer at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London where he acquired Master’s Degree with Distinction. His first international media appearance was at the WXQR Radio of New York during the McGraw Hill Young Artist Showcase in 2009. Ever since, Matsukawa has performed world-wide with renowned artists such as Shlomo Mintz, a violin virtuoso & conductor, the Silesian Chamber Orchestra (Poland), the Danube Symphony Orchestra (Hungary), the Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, the Cambridge Graduate Orchestra (UK) etc, during which he was the concertmaster of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala Orchestra in Milan till 2018. The most significant awards Matsukawa has received are the Ivan Sutton Chamber Music Award, the 2nd prizes of the Romania International Music Competition in Tokyo and the Munetsugu Angel Violin Competition, the Special Prize at the 2nd Concerto Masterclass & Competition in Budapest. Matsukawa was the overall winner of the Concorso Giovanni Internazionale Musicisti “Luigi Zanuccoli” (Italy)

Prices and conditions:
The first 20 minutes online lesson:  
Free

This lesson is a first meeting and introduction  of  the teacher and the student alike.

General lessons: 

5 hour online lesson (60 minutes each) : 180 Euro 

10 hour online lesson (60 minutes each): 360 Euro

Prepare for conservatoire  exam, university exam, competitions: 

5 hour online lesson (60 minutes each) : 300 Euro 

10 hour online lesson (60 minutes each): 600 Euro

Payment:

We will send you all the payment information when we received your registration, and our teacher accepted you as a student.

The possible methods of payment are: Paypal, Credit and Debit Card, Bank Transfer.

Online lesson  policy: 

Lesson cancellation and refund:

There is no refund on unused or cancelled lessons, but it is possible to rearrange the lesson time. If you need to cancel your lesson, let us know at least 24 hours prior. Then we can re-arrange it to a later suitable time. If you don’t cancel the lesson within 24 hours, then the payment is non-refundable.

 

Age restriction:

If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must give a signed grant permission for the lessons  (documents will be sent by email), and your parent/guardian must be there with you on the 1st lesson.
